Eric Ryder

Associate Attorney

Mr. Ryder joined Policastro Law Group in 2013.  He has practiced as an attorney in the field of eminent domain law since 2004.  He has experience handling a wide variety of eminent domain cases.

Prior to entering private practice, he worked at the State of Florida Attorney General’s Office representing the Florida Department of Transportation and the City of Tampa.

At Policastro Law Group, Mr. Ryder provides a wide variety of litigation support including drafting of pleadings and memoranda, performing legal research, and issuing and responding to discovery. His responsibilities also include reviewing titlework, leases, mortgages and other contracts.  Mr. Ryder works closely with clients during the course of the firm’s representation, including obtaining and reviewing business records and coordination with lenders and others in preparation for case resolution.

He was a co-author for the eminent domain portion of the Florida Bar’s City, County & Local Government Law Certification Review CLE for the years 2008-2013.

He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and its Eminent Domain Committee.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his juris doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law.
